What is the GDDA and what does it stand for?
GDDA stands for Ghanaian Doctors And Dentists Association in the United Kingdom. It is an association of doctors and dentists of Ghanaian descent or with sufficient links to Ghana based in the UK.

Who is eligible to join?
Any doctor or dentist, individual or group in the UK who satisfies the eligibility criteria and prepared to abide by the constitution, can submit an application to be assessed for membership by visiting the membership or registration pages.

Can I pay my dues in instalments?
No. At the moment this facility has not been set in motion. It is a possibility in the future.

Can I get a refund if I am not happy?
No.

Can I register and pay my dues online?
We anticipate that this facility would be available in the future but unfortunately it is not yet possible to pay dues online. However, you can register online and pay dues by contacting the treasurer for payment method such as by cheque or telephone transfer.

How can I contribute towards this group?
Whereas it is impossible to give an exhaustive list, the following would definitely help the GDDA:
Maintaining your membership; playing an active part in the activities of this group; contributing your time, energies and other resources towards advancing our objectives and the work of any groups or committees that might be set up to advance these objectives; encouraging any dentist or doctor of Ghanaian descent or with sufficient links to Ghana to join and maintain their membership.

I want to make donations to the association to enhance their work and aspirations. Is this accepted and how can it be done?
Donations of all kinds are accepted with great gratitude. Please, contact the treasurer at reg@gdda-uk.com for arrangements and further details.

How do I gain access to the protected (members only) pages?
If you do not have access to the protected pages, it might mean that you have not paid your dues after registration or you are not in good standing (that is your dues are not up to date). Please contact the treasurer at reg@gdda-uk.com to settle this and your username and password will be mailed to you for access.
